Application planning guide. This is an original explanation of a possible equipment enquiry, not a completed customer project, installation report or guaranteed configuration.

Start With The Irrigation Requirement

Describe the irrigated use, operating schedule and required delivery flow. Identify whether storage is part of the system or whether the pump feeds irrigation directly. These are planning inputs, not grounds to assign a pump model without installation information.

Connect The Water Level To The Delivery Point

Give the measured or estimated water level under pumping conditions and identify its status. Include the vertical difference to the delivery point, pipe length and diameter, fittings and any pressure requirement at the outlet. Borehole depth alone does not describe the pumping head.

Keep Power And Pump Selection Connected

Specify available voltage, frequency and supply arrangement, or state that solar operation is being considered. A solar pump enquiry also needs operating hours, storage expectations and information about the proposed power installation. Do not assume that a controller or photovoltaic array is included with every pump family.

Request A Defined Scope

Include the water requirement, installation drawing where available, destination and requested accessories. Ask for the relevant pump curve and a review of the proposed operating point. Confirm the motor, controller, cable, protection and connection scope before ordering.

The Task

Prepare an equipment discussion for moving groundwater to an irrigation system. If a new well is required, drilling and well completion are separate stages from selecting a pump.

Site And Operating Conditions

Record the water source, available well information, required flow, water level during pumping where known, delivery elevation, pipe route and electricity or solar-power requirements.

Equipment Roles

Well drilling equipment where a new borehole is planned. A pump family appropriate for the installation after duty-point review. Motor, controller, power equipment and pipe connections to be identified in the quotation.

Planning Boundaries

Maximum flow and maximum head are not assumed to occur together. Solar availability, groundwater yield, installation and controls must be assessed separately. This guide is not a pump sizing calculation or a promise of crop-water availability.
